(Denver, Colo.) May 7 - Attorney Shazam Kianpour took some time away from his successful Denver, Colorado, criminal defense practice at his firm Shazam Kianpour & Associates, P.C., to connect with veterans in the community on Saturday, March 27, 2010.
To show his respect for the veterans' service and to pay homage to their military experiences, Attorney Kianpour engaged and entertained a group of about two dozen veterans with a presentation of remote control jet models. Including a question and answer session at the end, the demonstration lasted just over two hours.
The veterans are residents of the Veterans' Administration Community Living Center (VACLC) in Denver, Colorado. Many veterans admitted to the VACLC, which is part of the Veterans' Administration Eastern Colorado Health Care System, have chronic conditions, like dementia, require long-term rehabilitation or specialized short-term care or need the attention and comfort the center provides.
Kianpour stated that "In my daily life, I dedicate myself to my clients and work hard to defend them against criminal charges using my experience and attention to detail. In my spare time, I enjoy learning about and operating remote control jet models and sharing these with others who may also have a passion for them."
