Reportedly, drug paraphernalia was discovered on the 26-year-old during a search and he is said to have admitted to using heroine 48 hours before the arrest.
The 26-year-old now faces multiple felony charges, including four counts of first-degree criminal trespass and one count of drug possession.
Sen. Udall released a statement saying that he and his wife were “deeply distressed” to hear about their son’s arrest and that they “stand with him in his commitment to getting the treatment he needs.”
