Domestic violence is always heartbreaking, but it is even more so when its victims are innocent children. Recently, a 2-year-old girl from Westminster died, and authorities suspect domestic violence played a part after finding that the young girl suffered head trauma.
The last individual to be seen with the young girl before she died was a 27-year-old man who was the boyfriend of the girl’s mother. According to police reports, the man in question has faced several prior accusations of domestic violence.
However, the man who is accused tells an entirely different story. According to him, he was looking after the young girl on the morning that she was found, while her mother was away at work. According to his testimony, the young girl began struggling to breathe and curled up. He did not have any explanation for the bruises on the young girl’s body or her brain bleeding.
